Contential Airlines ripoff, issued me a cash credit instead of cash refund on over charged changed flight Nationwide
I changed my flight from St. Lucia to Miami to an earlier flight and was charged a fee for the change, but had overpaid on an earlier cancelled flight, I was given a cash credit instead of a cash refund, that was several years ago and I have tried about 9 times to use the credit to no avail, they had real stupid excuses for not honoring my credit or giving me cash. They said it was only good on the week ends, was only good on a Friday filghht, only good inside the USA, only good outside the USA, I tried so many times to use the credit and every time was unable to.
I finally tried to call the CEO of the rip off outfit and his secy said he refused to get on the phone with a nobody. Actually called me a nobody when they found out what my call was about. I have not used Contential since and would never again, I still this worthless piece of crap credit butit is worthless now.
Just for the record, I hope contential fails and goes BK.
Anyway, always insist on a cash refund, do NOT accept any type of flight credit or any type of credit from them.
