Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This Mike Said with Continental expedited left me stranded up in Kentucky because of truck problems. He is a con, and I have to wonder how many other people he has taken advantage of. I ran alot of miles for him and he never paid me. He was paid well with all the miles I ran for him. But I did not see a dime. Not only for the runs I made but to actually leave me stranded in Kentucky on my way back here to Tennessee. I have went through agencies trying to get my money but have not been successfull. If there is anyone out there that would be interested in helping me with this issue please call Dave at (((ROR redacted))). My only recorse now is to expose this.

David (Dave) Lucier Used his Fuel Advances to Purchase Cigarrettes and Alcohol

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

Thu, January 13, 2011

David Lucier was given fuel money to complete his trip. Instead of purchasing fuel he misused company money to purchase items for himself not limited to alcohol and cartons of cigarettes. There were no mechanical problems with the truck as described in his story. Mr. Lucier phones the office stating he was out ofmoney because he purchased cigarettes and beer, and he would be leaving our truck at a truck stop. Upon arrival, we realized he had not returned the key, and we had no receipts or paperwork to process his pay. Between his fuel advances, having a new key made, and recovering the freight to have it delivered to the customer after Mr. Lucier abandoned ship, he owed the company over four hundred dollars. After contacting several state agencies regarding this matter, Mr. Lucier filed this report after getting his claim laughed at repeatedly. It has been determined legally that the company owes him nothing. Furthermore, his abandonment of company equipment portrays terrible work ethic and loyalty. He should not have been given the opportunity to work here whatsoever. We now have more stringent regulations in place to prescreen individuals much more thoroughly.
