TO EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO IS CONSIDERING PURCHASING TIMESHARE AT CORAL RESORTS, CORAL REEF, CORAL SANDS, ISLAND LINK AND PORT A CALL - THINK AGAIN!

First of all, there are legitimate timeshare companies, but Coral Resorts is NOT one of them.  Do your research!!

If you have purchased from this company and have time to cancel - do it right away and if it's too late I highly recommend you seek an attorney.   If you ever have a problem and you need to contact them, they do not return phone calls in a timely manner.  You will be lucky if you can even reach them!

The points system is not explained in full detail.  It is extremely confusing!!  They just want you to sign you life away.  Hell, the salesman couldn't even explain about the points, himself.  Would you buy anything without it being explained to you.  I don't think so!!

Coral Resorts is overselling timeshare, selling fraudulent/fake inventory (doesn't exist!).  HIGHLY ILLEGAL.

These unprofessional salesmen (greedy, bloodsucking vultures) just want your money!  They are basically running a Ponzi Scheme and in this bad economy nobody has money to throw away.  If you speak to any representatives, especially these individuals:   Sheldon Stanhope, John Beard, Allie Muenhart, Robert Manning,  - THEY ARE MISREPRESENTING THE TRUTH.
This company seriously needs to be investigated and all their files need to be audited immediately by the federal authorities.

We purchased with these guys as well.  Heard all the developer week garbage and promises that never came true.  Our salesperson could never be reached because they were gone a month after we purchased.  We are a few weeks away from getting our money back, or so our last correspondence said.  My husband bought a "how to get out of your timeshare book' and we followed the steps.  Wasn't too difficult.  We definatley did not need an attorney or 'relief company (I think those are another scam).  Once you start taking the actions in the book, the resort WILL respond to you and correct things.

We were on the hook for almost $12000.  Coral is refunding our down payment monies and cancelling our loan, so we will not have any issues with them going foward.  Once we presented the issues to the parties it advised the were very understanding.  Ithink it was more becuase of parties outside the resort though.

The process has taken several months, we contacted them in March I believe.  So not too bad.  I understand your issues though, it seems to be the same around a lot of the industry according to the book.  It's a bit of a long read (70page pdf) but well worth the money.  Paypal had a money back guarantee for it too.  It takes a little patience but I highly recommend it if you are having issues most timeshare owners seem to have.  We loved their resorts too, Coral Sands was beautiful.  Next time we will just not buy it from them, probably a resale.  There was a whole section of the book on this too.  I would send you the file but I do not think this site will let us contact directly.  The site was timesharesamaritan.com or something close to it.  Good luck in getting out of it, I think you will be fine.

We purchased a time share through Coral Resorts back in April 2012.  We have vacationed several years in Hilton Head are were so excited about the ability to continue to vacation there every year with out the hassle of finding a place to stay.  I wish we knew we were going from the frying pan to the fire.  Over the last two days we have discovered most everything others have written.

Our first payment comes out in 16 days and I am going to do everything in my power to correct our mistake, silly me for thinking that Coral Resorts was an upstanding business with honest employees! Like most people these days, we are financially strapped and put the money we would of used for our vacation toward our down-payment thinking we would be able to reserve our condo 30 days out with no problem, this per our sales person Julie Stefan who assured us, even showed us the available condo for the month of July.  What a joke!!

So now I am really ticked (only G-rated word I can use on this site) and I am looking for help and willing to help others who are in our same situation.  Maybe there can be power in numbers, because right now I am NOT going to shut-up!  Would you be willing to help and/or join the team?

Thank you!
