Complaint Review: C.O.R.E (cooperative restaurant/bar entertainment) - WATSEKA Illinois

James Kimble aka James Funk is a white male standing 5'6 140lbs balding 30yr old smoker.  He is a sociopath that claims to own bars in Eldon MO, Houston TX and Chicago IL.  He has extensive knowledge in the field of bar ownership and may present a water bill to prove that he has property in Eldon MO.  He started a company with me claiming that he was going to use cash to pay for everything.  We hired over 400 people in an effort to open 5 bars in Chicago at once.  These people signed contracts and were promised a job and a sign on bonus.  They were promised these thing by James because of the many delays that occurred since the inception of this venture.  As you might imagine these people are very upset for many reasons.  According to James we had to open 5 bars at once because the IRS was coming after him for back taxes.  These back taxes amounted to $2.75 million dollars.  These back taxes were of course no fault of his but of his dead husband.  Who ironically has an active account of Facebook under the name Anty Kimble.

James will claim to be a billionaire but yet owns no car, drivers license or checking account.  He will make promises that he will continuously break.  He may claim to get a check every month in the amount of $7500 from the government due to his dead husband being killed in the military. However, the check only amounts to $800.00.  Beware of any self-aggrandizing behavior.  As he will attempt to make you feel like he is better than you because of his purported financial status.  He will make every excuse as to why you cannot see the bars or anything of any remote tangibility.  The bars are under a confidential sales contract and you cannot go in there or inquire about them until the day of closing.  He is very emotional and will cry about something regarding the relationship or situation he is in daily. 

He will engage in highly dramatic fictitious phone calls that he actually spoke to whomever he claims to at the moment.  You will never meet his lawyer, doctor, accountant, banker or real estate agent or even speak to them on the phone.  Furthermore, he will attempt to distract your interests in the business with something personal that is going on in your relationship with him.  He may also attempt put all of the focus on him and his purported poor health.  James claims to have stage 4 lymphoma small cell lung cancer. Ask James to go on a doctors appointment with him and see how many times he cancels that appointment. Ask for his medical records and see how he does everything possible to not let you see them.  He will also tell you that his father Tye Funk died recently but research has found his father still living with his girlfriend near Watseka IL.
James may attempt to have you add him on your checking/savings account.  Once this happens you will lose everything.  I added him to my checking in the beginning of February and he absconded $1200 out of it and I never saw him again.  Furthermore, this billionaire has written checks against my account from the Dollar Store and www.moneyonthego.net!  Additionally, PLS (pay day loan store) keeps calling me looking for him because he owes them money!  To make a long story short here, ostensibly he will come off as a very nice guy and very affable.  However, he is a snake and he uses the very real illness that his dad is suffering from to get you to have pity for him.  He will lie about his past with his boyfriend and family.  He does not have cancer, cars, credit or collateral of any kind.  In closing, if he is in your presence you should abandon him immediately and call the authorities.  You do not want to be culpable in any manner because his disingenuous actions will reap severe consequences.
