I found them in the Auto Trader - decided to look at selection on the website. I found a van that I like that was within my price range. Went down to purchase van - it was the wrong picture. Tried to get me into another car - once test drive was done they said it was the wrong car again. Showed me a windstar van - went to start it and the check engine light was on.

I tried to walk away from deal but they PROMISED that they would fix the check engine light or whatever was causing it - I made them put that into the contract. Brought the van back a week later - they said it was only a sensor and would only take a couple of hours. They had the van all day - they stated that the part came from the Ford Dealer with no part in it.

Brought it back again and they kept it for 2 weeks. About a month later the light came on again. Brought it back and they "fixed it" - would not give reason why. About 2 weeks later the transmission went out. They would not help me - it cost me $2463 to fix. Asked for all paperwork from mechanic about work done and they would not give to me. I refused to pay $400 still owed for down payments - they took me to small claims court and won. Also, Brakes went out 2 months after I got the van.

I too have encountered problems with Corona Motors. They called my girlfriend during work to tell her that the car needs to have a GPS placed on the car on the request of the finance company. She was told to bring the car in (02-01-10) and that it would take from a half hour to an hour to place a gps in the car. When she arrived there they told her she would need to take a loaner car and leave the car here over night and that it takes 2 hours to place the gps in the car. When she was prepared to go to work the following morning the car would not start at all. She called Corona Motors and was told that it wasnt their problem to deal with that she should find a way to get to work or to get her car. They didnt offer to even get a tow truck or mechanic to come fix a car that doesnt belong to me. I put $3000 dollars cash down payment and she was treated like dirt. She missed half a days worth of work and they said thats none of their business. I hope other people who have had similar dirt done to them by Corona Motors steps up and start putting these shady dealers in their place.
