Costumehut (starwars Costume Shop) ripoff On-line Internet
I ordered a halloween costume and some accesories to go with it off of starwarscostumeshop.com for my 6 year old daughter. The first e-mail I got was to comfirm my order. The second e-mail 2 days later was comfirming they were charging my credit card for one of the items (a flashlight) and shipping charges for the whole order, (about $16.00 just for shipping a $3.00 flashlight).
I replied stating that I had ordered more than just the one item. They replied stating the other items were on back order. The next email I sent them was asking when my items would be here because when I first made the order they had given me a one to two week time frame.
Now it's time for my daughters halloween party and the items are still on backorder. So I got no response from that email, and still haven't even received the one item they did approve.
I've sent multiple emails (their phone number is pretty much bogus, it just tells you to contact them by email.) I am now getting no responses at all. I tried to send them one to cancel the order, but of course, no response.
Now that I read on here and a couple of other web-sites they are apparantly doing this to alot of people. I would not reccommend anyone ordering from these people. All I got was a dissappointed 6-year old.
