CountryWide Mortgage is the least of nothing within the mortgage industry.

They were, and are incompetent, mismanagement and incompetency is out of control, full of disorder and disarray, so they just "muddle through". Their employees are skillfully trained in manipulating the public so they can reap the benefits and profits, and any other advantages.

CountryWide deliberately, premediate, and scheme their way in to confusing the issues at hand with their customers. Hoping "they will become bewildered and perplexed" to the point they will probably give up . And by avoiding, shirking, and shunning the people, CountryWide does not have to give explainations, or attempt any problem solving issues.

When calling for assistance, you are swithched and diverted, from one person, department, or "desk" -- a different one each time, very, very, seldom ever actually speaking to any person, but leaving a message. Confusing matters even more.

While attempting to obtain "work out" program, and making financial arrangements, and put things in order, --I called so many times, to so many people, so many departments, etc. I accumulated, collected, a list of names, numbers, departments, programs financial agreements, that I could fill half of a large wall.

I was not uncommon to be "put on hold", for and hour or two. I would set my phone on "speaker phone" option, and go about my other business till someon picked up the phone from CW---as a result , as usual, no answers or decisions, only more confusion, and "muddled up" again. For the same old reasons, --policy change, previous contact person had changed for one reason or another, information given before was challenged, etc. Nothing could ever be settled, or confirmed. So much negligence, non caring, and indifference. This continued for months and and months.

In the final phases, a few days before our home was "to go to the court house steps" for sale, the forclosure attorney's office alerted us that our home could be "saved", but CW had to agree to the terms. I started calling every number I had ever had with CW, and literally begging for some one to call the attorney, or myself,so we could keep our home, by taking a sum of money to the attorney,by a certain day and time,we could save our home

NO ONE from CountryWide would make a two minute call that would have stopped the forclosure. When they did call, Ms. somebody, and I told her it was too late--was the end of the business day, totally negligent and non caring, her attitude and disposition was belittling, "that' just too bad", with not respect or regard for what had just happened to our lives, total disrespect. I had left message after message, BEGGING for a call back--

our home was sold on the court house steps the next morning. I had even went to a CW branch office , and the manager tried to help all he could--but he could not even make any headway with them..

The is the way CountryWide does business--now the CEO is retiring,. with all his millions, and 5 or 6 homes-as the news reported--" and his homes are not in foreclosure"
