COUNTRYWIDE HOME LOANS - DEREK WHITE - TIA JACKSON - GREG LEWIS - GRADY BLAND RIPOFF OVERINFLATED APPRAISAL INVESTOR FRAUD CONSPIRACY AMONG COUNTRYWIDE THE INVESTOR & THE APPRAISER ALPHARETTA Georgia
In 2002, I made the financially fatal mistake of doing business with a mortgage broker from stone mountain, georgia by the name of GREG LEWIS (he claims he works with DALLAS AUSTIN & other celebrities). Greg, as my real estate advisor, promised that I will be rich and have money to save my business. The first house I bought was located at 6585 Carriage Lane, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30087, was located right next door to his house. He even had a tenant for me, but d**n if she wasn't late every month with the rent and never bought the house. Because of the loan which was an 80/20 with double digit interest rate AND a 3% prepayment penalty, it was impossible to refinance and impossible to sell-thus this was foreclosed on this year. Thanks Gregory Lewis.
But the doosie happened in June 2002, when Greg introduced me to Tia Jackson, an experienced real estate investor who lives in posh Alpharetta, Georgia. Tia had a deal set up where I would buy a fabulous house in Alpharetta, Georgia way under value, rent it out as a lease purchase and make big money. Well I paid $520,000 for this house...
Am I stupid? Well I thought so, but what did I do? I took advice from professionals who reported themselves to be experts in their field. I was referred to what I thought to be a major, reputable company, Countrywide, to handle the financing on my mortgage. Countrywide's own appraiser, Grady L. Bland (GA7061) not mine, but Countrywide's appraiser appraised this house at $522,000. This house is presently listed at $339,000, it's not anywhere near worth the appraisers value. Let it suffice to say the house didn't sell, it didn't rent out, and it was foreclosed on in 2003. The investor, Tia Jackson, the appraiser Grady Bland and Derek White of Countrywide, along with Greg Lewis, worked together to pull a big ol fraud on me. Now my business is closed, my credit is ruined, and my finances are nill. I'm broke and my name and financial reputation is mud. Thanks Countrywide.
