Tammy Dorsett and Steve Dorsett are the owners of this business. They hired me to build a new website. Website build amount is $7700.00. They agreed to pay 3 installments of $2566.32 with the first payment on September 8th, 2nd payment on October 11th and final payment to be paid on October 31st.

They paid the first down payment of $2566.32 to get the project started. They failed to make their 2nd and 3rd payment installments. The 2nd payment they sent a check and was received on November 5th. The payment was 5 weeks past due. First excuse was that their store got robbed and they had to replace a bunch of equipment. 2nd excuse they used was that Tammy was suffering from major back pain, which prevented them from making the payment! Third excuse was that their son was in the hospital. Come on, seriously, how low can you go to use your children as an excuse? Turns out that their store was not robbed, Tammy faked being hurt and their son was never in the hospital... these people are about the lowest you can go. I deposited the check and on November 14th my bank rejected the check for Non Sufficient Funds after trying to attempt collection three times. I alerted Tammy Dorsett of the issue with no response. I alerted Steve Dorsett of the issue and again was met with no response. I then suspended their account for non payment.

Charges are:

$5132.32 for remaining, unpaid balance for their finished web site

$55.00 per month for web hosting on private server, SSL certificate and unlimited emails

$200.00 returned check processing fees (this is based on over 12 hours trying to collect payment)

All work was completed on time. I worked ethically for their company and fulfilled all my obligations, project milestones and project goals. I have to seek legal recouse now through the courts to collect this debt they owe me.

These are not good people. FYI... they hired my other company (online reputation mangement firm) to get rid of bad reviews they've accumulated, we did a great job for them and that is how I was hired to create a new website for them. Should have never done business with this company. Now I wish I would have made the pay me upfront, because of the amount of bad reviews and complaints against them.

Do not do business with Cowboy Reflections, Tammy Dorsett or Steve Dorsett. They'll take your money or try to not pay on services. Beware.

Tammy Dorsett Is A Liar

Everything Tammy has stated is false. No one has "hacked" into her computer. They tried to get a website for free by scamming me and not paying me. Tammy's company Cowboy Reflections has hired me in the past with very successful results, and I have all of the files and emails of them praising my work. Now when they owe someone money they have an issue with the work. Tammy even tried to file a fraud claim with her credit card company, claiming that she never received her physical merchandise. They're the lowest of the low.

It's clear that Tammy Dorsett and Steve Dorsett are on the defensive and are at fault. No one in their town likes them and wants them gone. I called the cafe in Thorndale and they all talked about how Cowboy Reflections doesn't pay employees, how their furniture comes from Mexico and is not hand made by them. I even spoke to a former employee that wants to testify against them. Oh... and also here is a link to their D- Better Business Bureau rating.

Sad excuse for human beings. Good Luck with that!

was said by  business remove my bad review sean lucas to do a web design for us...however he was never able to produce any information such as what he has done and what he is doing.  never any contact with us other than to get more information from us to login into our accounts , etc.  He has hacked out website ( the orginal one) and has now hacked our computer and our emails as well.  He take money only to not provide a sevice.  When we requested what was done he send a bogus website and a link that was unable to access.  Sure his list of duties is long but where is the action that was taken on the webdesign we paid for.  We cancelled the check after he could nto provide us with adiquate information concerning thte accoutn and the web design he supposidly was building.  He was so desperate for money that he then demanded the payment (2nd  installment) and the 3rd one that was yet due.  He got his $2599.99 and wanted $5198.00 .  Calling every hour on the hoiur to get payment as he clearly  is a scam artist and has stole money form others had I done a review on him I would of seen this information.  He leads you to beleive that he has a staff owrking for him when in fact it is only him doing the work.  misleading at best!    it now seems strange to me that all checks and invoices were not made to his business but to his personal name.  he is a smooth talker and will convince you that you need him.  all he needs is your money!  said when he longer got paid as a result of nithing shown for our money he said he would make our life misrable and we have not even bugun to feel the pain.  beware of sean lucas  portland or and or remove my bad review

They Stole Money From Me

I put a furniture set on lay away and they charged my credit card for $500 with no authorization to do so! They denied doing it, then when they received the money told me they have a no refund policy! I contacted the chief of police for Thorndale and he is there on a regular basis because they fail to deliver products, fraudulently charge peoples credit cards and bounce check to their employees then refuse to pay them. He advised me to contact the Attorney Generals office for Texas and file a complaint to get them SHUT DOWN and out of his town! Please contact the Attorney General so they do something about this! The more complaints the higher a priority they are!
