Cox (sucker) Communications free hbo and showtime my a*s! ripoff artists scam dirt bags Phoenix Arizona
I recently had Cox hooked up in our new home. Unfortunately, I know better than dealing with these fools but they are pretty much a monopoly for cable in Phoenix. Anyway, when I got my cable hooked up they told me that the HBO and SHOWTIME that "they were giving me for free for the first month" could be turned off at no charge within thirty days. Oh how great!
Fortunately, I KNOW COX! I called the stupid a*s customer service rep and she told me on the phone that "I would be getting charged half price for those two channels." I immediately had her repeat that for the recording and then asked her why I was charged half price if the commercials advertise free HBO and Showtime for the first month. Why am I being charged if the technician actually put it on the line and then told me to call and have it disconnected within thirty days at no charge. I changed the channel to HBO and immediately after complaining about it, both of the channels were turned off. Thnk you COX-suckers ad I am waiting to see if these charges are on my bill.
