I signed a 5-yr contract with CPI security when I built my first house and was told if I decide to move to a different house, all the equipment would stay with the current house and the same set of equipment would be installed at a new place.

I had a meeting setup with CPI rep for new installation for our new place and had been told at first that no charge will be applied and the system will be upgraded to premium package since we have been with them over 3 years. Well, 20 minutes into the talk and after 4 to 5 time on and off phone calls with his people, we were told we were not getting upgraded but we could only get basic package for no charge. However, this basic package has less equipment than what we currently have especially it would not cover our 6 windows on the first floor was contacted.

Not only that, our monthly monitoring fee will be higher than what we are playing (keep in mind we are still under 5-yr contract), and the worst part is we are force to renew 36-month of contract with them.

The contract is technically breached which should about us to void the whole thing. We feel like we are force to stay with them while they treat us worse than new customers.
