I purchased a used laptop from CPMatrix earlier this year. It did not meet my expectations; I thought the cpmatrix description was generous for the delivered product. I exchanged emails with cpmatrix and returned the laptop per the reutrn policy. CPMatrix then kept sending emails about how I wanted the return despite thta i made it clear i wanted the credit returned to my credit card. Than, after 60 days - which is the ebay cut off for buyer feedback - they stopped communicating. I have sent many emails and called the Austin office and left voice messages. No response. They too $189.00 plus tax and shipping; accepted return of the comupter, and never provided a refund.
I have sent them approximatley 15 ocmmunications over 6 + months with no response. There is no reason for a non-reponse when htere were very responsive during the first 60 days of the purchase. Clearly this is a company strategy for handling consumer returns deisgned to take advantage of the internet. This is fraudulent behavior and a scam designed to sound great during the feedback period and ignore the consumer when your options are limited.
I wish I had seen this site prior. Don't buy from cpmatrix!
