Crafter's Choice Book Club, IL Taking Unauthorized PayPal Payments, Internet
I joined this club in order to receive credits for Listia. Part of my contract was to have 2 years to buy two more books. Crafter's Choice sent emails everyday and I ignored because I was not interest--nor had the money--at the time to purchase a book. I got an email from PayPal saying there was an automatic payment to Crafter's Choice. It was not authorized by me and I was, excuse my language, pissed! I called the bank, I called the club ***which, by the way, entailed an internet search for a phone number--that's right--the site lists no phone number***
They stated that unless I declined their selections every month that I would be receiving two books every month. I received the first set and was going to do the Return to Sender that they suggested (then I could receive a refund--I had been charged $45.46 without permission, by the way). Well my husband accidentally opeded it, so I had to keep them. Now today, I get another message from PayPal stating the same thing!!! I have emailed the company. lot of good that will do and I have called to no evail. I suggest that no one go near this club. It is a ripoff!!!
