While, like many, I came to CR England to realize a dream of mine, the experience was not what many of my peers expected. There were in fact many restless nights of studying, many packages of ramen noodles eaten, and many trips to a drinking fountain to refill my water bottle. You may or may not be thinking to yourself how unpleasant such a temporary lifestyle sounds. Herein lies the salt. This company has shown me something that I have actually known my entire life. If you want something, you have to be willing to work for it. And boy let me tell you, anyone who makes it into an England truck will have earned those keys. We used to joke amongst ourselves in class that it was more of a CDL boot camp. Yes, there is a lot of material to digest in a short time period. However, this company does and always has given each and every student every tool, every resource, and every opportunity to leap and bound, successfully mind you, into this career field. As far as the negative experience with training goes, all I can say is shame on those trainers and on behalf of every other trainer that toils every day to help their apprentices become the best of the best, I am incredibly sorry that one, two, or even three individuals took it upon themselves to treat you so poorly. You deserve better and I can say with surety that England believes the exact same. Unfortunately, the trainers behavior reflected on the company in your eyes. This type of treatment is not what the trainer culture at CR England stands for, nor is it what the company stands for as a whole. As a Phase I instructor, I take my responsibility to each one of my students ridiculously serious. You come onto my assigned truck and you rely on me completely to show you, in actual practice, everything you learned on paper while you were a student at PTDS, all in a safe, neutral, learning conducive and nurturing atmosphere. Reaching Phase I is a milestone and you should be respected for your hard work and dedication. And at least on my truck, you would have been. My whole point here is simply this; a few negative experiences is not what this company is. This company is a culture of safety, service, quality of life, and productivity. This is in fact my opinion based on my personal experience. If you did in fact have such a terrible experience, I would encourage you to take action against the individuals that treated you so poorly, with reassurance that with proper investigation, this company will stand behind what is right and what is true. They have for the better part of a century, and I assure you that they will today as well. On a closing note, I encourage you to not give up on driving. This profession is loaded with people who are absolutely clueless. Be one of the few who make it better. This isn't easy and no one who is at least honest will ever guarantee you a million dollars, but at England you can be sure that they have your back, and with due diligence, you will progress.

this person tells the 100 % truth but undortunately i did not listen and had tunnel vision. i musts say i had dreams about being a truck driver but after my experience CR england trainer took all that away. when your trainor is driving down colorado mountains and uses cell phone up to his ears and down shifts with one hand and pust his elbow on steering wheel. that made me very unsafe. i got off truck and posted on here so read my story and yes you can file a EEOC charge with the EEOC commission. I encourage every one do this then maybe someone will do something about this company. I had a trainor physical and verbal abuse me and i got off in salt lake. then called Driver manage who did nothing about this but only say he need to get freight hauled. i told him not with me on that truck and went home. i was depressed for days and finally been seeing a therapists.

I HATE TO SAY THIS BUT WOMEN ARE GENERALLY TREATED LIKE SCUM BY EX-MILITARY. THAT'S JUST HOW IT IS AND THEY SHOULD HAVE SENT YOU OUT WITH A WOMAN TRAINER SINCE YOU ALL WERE IN CLOSE QUARTERS. YOU HAVE ENOUGH FOR A SEXUAL HARASSMENT, HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT SUIT. AND THERE IS ENOUGH THERE TO SHOW THAT THEY COMMITTED FRAUD AND YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THE TUITION. THEY PROBABLY GOT MONEY FOR THE GOVERNMENT FOR TRAINING YOU BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO HAVE SO MANY WOMEN IN THE CLASSES. WONDER WHY NOBODY FROM THE GOVERNMENT SEEMS TO CARE THAT NOT TOO MANY WOMEN UNLESS THEY HAVE A BOYFRIEND, HUSBAND OR l*****n PARTNER WITH THEM SEEM TO FINISH THIS TRAINING.MAYBE THAT IS BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE EX-MILITARY TOO. CHECK WITH AN EMPLOYMENT LAWYER AFTER YOU FILE WITH EEOC. I THINK PRESIDENT OBAMA'S ADMINISTRATION IS GOING TO FINALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT RAMPANT, BLATANT DISCRIMINATION LIKE THIS! IF THEY GIVE YOU A CAN SUE LETTER, SUE THE BASTARDS! PRIVATE CONTRACT SECURITY GUARD CONTRACTORS ARE REAL BAD ABOUT THIS GENDER DISCRIMINATION TOO. YOU COULD BE A BUS DRIVER.

...the last woman who posted in regard to CR England on the site, was raped by her trainer. That one bugs me to this day. CR England has never been a company that screens their trainers. More often than not, the trainers they pair newbies with, have not been driving but for a few months themselves. It must be quite a culture shock, coming from other lines of work to be subjected to the treatment that they dish out. People....stay away from this company. There is nothing but abuse and exploitation in your future if you allow them to get their hooks in you.
