TO ALL MARITIMERS: SAVE YOUR BUSFARE OR YOUR GAS MOENY AND DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE!!
All they want you to do is sell cheap kids toys, make up, laminated posters and light up key chains door to door or business to business. You'll work for commission and they tell you that you will be working towards "buiness ownership" Where you get to spend $30,000 yearly on job ads to dupe others into the same thing.
They've been kicked out of several US States and although the company began in Toronto, Ontario many years ago, they were kicked out and had to change their name several times. The Maritimes is fairly new for them as they know that their welcome is wearing thin in other provinces and they recognize that most Maritimers are leaving for more $$ in the west - they use that to keep you working for them and they brainwash you so much that you literally start to belive them when they tell you that carrying the heavy bags full of crap and going door to door will make you a millioniare.
I have already gone through this and do not wish this experience on my worst enemy. I've been away from them for a long time and still have to see a Dr to help with the deprogramming they did.
They do it from the moment they contact you about your resume to tell you that the manger loved it, wants to meet you asap, etc. Then its a very subtle mindf***ing until you're one of them. They isolate you from your friends and family - you work so much that you only have time to spend with them.

Obviously whomever wrote this couldn't make it. Selling products biz to biz or door to door is no different then walking into a store to buy it. Same type items, numerous brands for the same thing some better quality than others. The only scam here is when people like yourself can't handle the responsibility, drive and attitude needed to be successful. Chances are you are only an average employee at your current workplace. It really comes down to the individual. No matter what you do or who you work with, there are no guarantees. I answered an ad in the paper, went biz to biz selling everything. I followed what i was taught. Taught that to other people and low and behold, I was put into business for myself. It didn't cost me any money. I worked 6 days a week like every other job. And when i was running my own business, I worked 24/7 cause that's what running a business takes. I met thousands of great people and thousands of dumb asses too. I travelled all over Canada and the U.S even to exotic destinations. And all because I did what was necessary to acheive my goals. Mainly, I kept a positive attitude and worked hard. Everything that I was told about opportunity came true because I made it happen. Don't defer people from opportunities because you can't do it or have the proper attitude needed. That is the only scam. People deterring other people because of their own stupidity, irresponsibility or just plain ignorance.
