Cris Cawley has a history of fraud - her esteemed real estate career and know how was just a lie. She ended up filing bankruptcy and changing her name from Charrissa to Crissy to Cris in the public, hopes of avoiding recognition. She is an accomplished liar, cheat and will provide fake numbers and anything it takes to get your money.
Cris Cawley started Thinique Medical Weight Loss (or claimed to) based on false and fraudulent numbers. She also never disclosed that she was sued by Premiere Weight Loss in Florida after purchasing two licenses in 2010 (agian, she did not start thinique as a new concept as she has claimed), and after stealing their proprietary information and selling licenses, she was sued for copyright infringement, fraud and other items. She promptly filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy in Tarrant County, while at the same time disclosing to investors that she made over $750,000 in income from her clinic. This was in 2011. Yet her clinics have never made $500,000 per year after being open for four years.
At the same time she was filing bankruptcy, her children were attending private school, she owns a Hawaain timeshare (and still does) , a luxury home and several rentals, very expensive jewellry, and was driving two luxury vehicles and claiming massive income from "her clinics" - how can this be? BECAUSE SHE LIED TO THE BANKRUPTCY COURT!!!
Cris Cawley then started to franchise - she brought in large investors namely the Massage Envy founder and his group, John Leonesio and started to sell franchises. All franchises were provided proformas that were false, numbers that were false and she committed fraud. Several clinics have changed owners multiple times, some have closed, more are closing and many of the owners are stuck with multiple licenses and no ability to cash flow their clinics. The individual owners ARE GOOD OWNERS and have suffered tremendous losses based on her lies.
Cris Cawley then followed the same pattern she has always followed and brought in different investors to buy out the original investors as they saw that she had lied and there was no way to make the clinics profitable and she would not make the changes necessary. Instead she went on the attack. Now she is bringin in new investors to take the place of the second investors - it is a pyramid scheme!
Cris Cawley has a pattern of fraud and lies, cheating and deception. She never stops talking, she has no intention of telling the truth and has swindled people out of millions of dollars.
AVOID CRIS CAWLEY, JEFF CAWLEY AND THINIQUE AT ALL COSTS. CALL ALL THINIQUE FRANCHISES AND ASK FOR LIST OF PREVIOUS OWNERS AND GET THE REAL INFORMATION BEFORE YOU TOO ARE LEFT HOLDING A WORTHLESS FRANCHISE.
