Always do the math on your statements from CCB concentrating on last balance and current balance. This is how I caugth cross country noteing my payments on my statements but NOT deducting the amount from my totals!! TOTAL SCAM!! I caught mine, but how mant people didn't? It's just not a step people take on their bills because they are too trusting. DO NOT EVER TRUST CROSS COUNTRY BANK.
They did eventually deduct the $200 payment I made, 6 months later, and after $50 in phone calls. Then the fight was on for the late & overdue chrges. I contacted the oofice of the president (thats what a telemarketing peon tried to convince me of) and eventually it was all corrected, but it took almost a full year.
I would suggest consumers who unfortunatly hooked up with these dirtbags, without explaination, request copies of thier statemenst as far back as the lazy SOB's will allow and check the math from month to month. If they have stolen enough money from enough accounts, we might be able to sue them and close them down. Lets get these dirtbags gone for good!!!!
