crystal air and water Charged $179 for a $39 thermstat, gouged, lied said would give a refund, so BBB case dropped gainesville , Florida
Crystal Air and Water of Gainesville Florida came to my house and replaced a thermostat. It took about 15 minutes. They charged me for parts $179 for a Honeywell 5000 2 heat 1 cool thermostat.
You can buy this model exact model at any Home depot or Lowes for about $39.00 retail!
In addition I was charged $101 for the house call including a $5 fuel charge plus a 69.95 house call charge and they are located less then 5 miles from my house.
When I logged a compliant and reported them the BBB Curt the owner said hed issue me a refund check of $79, if I dropped my compliant with the BBB. When I did as requested and did not get my check I think you know what he saidI wont sign the check these folks are not just gauges theyre crooks and less than truthful, as Jinnee informed me the preverbal check is in the
mail and Im ashamed to say they took me twice, at least I didnt buy that bridge in Brooklyn.
