Look up the word scam in any dictionary and it represents the activities of recruitment, employment and sales in any DS-MAX office. I am not bitter, just aware. Several years ago I gave this company an opportunity to porve to me that by hard work and dedication that it could give me the financial independence it pormises. How sad that so many young people fall for this petty get rich quick scam, myself included. Reality is that wih/or without a college degree ,in any LEGITIMATE SALARIED=COMMISIONED job with PAID EXPENSES you can make 4 times the money, have business cards, life and medical insurance, and the liberty to say no, I do not want to attend any meetings, or particip[ate in your parties, or hang out after work, JUICE BY NO ONE. F#$%K off it is after hours and unlike your brainwashed self I have a life. Unfortunately they do not allow you to live it independantly, from day one they take over. Anyone, whom defends DS-MAX is either still in the organization, or has ripped off so many americans that they actualy proffited and retired, SHAME BY YOU MURRAY REINDHART, and the picture I have next to hime is a reminder of how pathetic I was by playing the same game. I highly doubt any one in defense of DS-MAX is out of the loop, and would encourage them to get a life, a real one that doesn't depend on the 3, 5, and the 8 steps to a rip off. DS-MAX, a place to meet great misguided youth, get laid, party and sexually harrass women, while on the job.

First, look outside of U.S. The organisation is HUGE and it`s spread across the globe with independent companies. I became manager/owner running an office of advertising campaigns in Finland in 1996. I started out in 1994 doing the field work - going out everyday for at least 8 hours meeting people and pitching.(still remember the 5 & 8 steps). We did this also during winter with -20 degrees celsius! I was promoted to team leadership and later to a joint manager/owner position. Yes, at first we were making peanuts on the field. I feel that was education. Did I become financially independent? No. But, I became independent. I was proud of employing myself at a time of recession. To my view, the opportunity is real - of course to some extent. I reckon that climbing up the promotional ladder to owning your own company without any financial assets, is more possible in the organisation, than in a normally structured company. Nobody said to us that it`s easy! I sold/handed over my part of the company five years ago due to fatigue. I took a rest going to school. Later, I went to work in an international office supply company selling over the phone. I moved up to be a team leader. Now I`m the country manager looking after an office of 40 employees. (Exception to above: Now, I don`t own the company!!!) I again have a goal of opening up my own business. Guys, THINK, what are your goals? How come the talk pulled your strings? Don`t blame others. Learn. Use the knowledge and act on it. It`s a tough world.

The type of rep who only signs up some of the companys lines and then comes back later to sign up some others and reap extra earnings on multiple applications at at&t's expense. And reps that steal cell phone apps, sign the customer up, collect the start up fee in cash and never turn the cell phone app in. Or reps who brazenly lie to get the app. I remember being so shocked when I found out about all this fraud. I was one of the people who wanted to get an office and I wanted AT&T as a client and I wanted to look out for AT&T so that I could make money on it long term. I helped my managers preach about how important it was to be ethical. And then come to find out that all this stuff happened - sometimes even by people that I helped train. I could not imagine how people could sleep at night after inflicting such expense on innocent people. Why? There is no screening. One bad person can learn to make a whole bunch of fast money. He can then infect new people. The manager will probably at first believe that the money is made honestly and want all his new people to go out with this guy. When bad reps are found - and they usually end up being discovered because there greed gets the better of them - they have done a considerable amout of damage in the meantime. I do not know if any such reps are at this cambridge communications outfit. I have never been to it. But I have been to many DS-max offices.

So was I. I believed that by taking care of the customer, in the short and long term nothing but good would come of it. We both know that you head out in the field to work your law of averages, not look for all the people you signed up and do quality control. If you happen to meet someone in your rounds that you signed up before - great, but that is not what you get paid to do. Not everyone in your office and all the other offices has your integrity. Why do you think DS-max lost AT&T before? Why do you think it lost Sprint? We've all heard horror stories about the rep who grabs a business card from an office and signs up that same office through a phone booth - pretending to be the business owner to the verification center. He or she will just list the phone booth number as the main line for the business. Or the reps who are able to finesse 2 or 3 extra 800 numbers on a business owner who doesn't pay attention to the paperwork and is taken away by the reps smile and good sugary words. And then there are all the reps who get harmed by being part of this company - by buying into it - giving their all and making peanuts. They believe that if they just stick it out they will get to some promised land where everyone is financially independant. Get out of this company while you still have money.

I only sell AT&T to businesses that I will definately save money for. I make a ton of money. I get hooked up with things every day by the owners I help out. I have gained so much experience working at cambridge. the manager DOES NOT sexually harass me or verbally abuse me. Those who choose not to stay is because it's just not for them. Not everyone has what it takes. I love talking to people all day long and I get paid to do it. People love me and that's why I do well. I don't scam anyone and my leader has never told me to lie to an owner that I would save them money. If i can't save someone money I walk out. I have checked up on the owners that I switched them to AT&T and so far no one had any complaints. If the plan is explained correctly, then there is no reason a business owner should get upset. If the paperwork is filled out correctly, nothing should get screwed up. I dont know about you, but I have benefits, I just trained someone who doesn't have a car, I make so much money each week by being my sweet innocent self, by being honest to owners and switching them to AT&T if I can help them out. Think about it, if I'm honest, I get them to love me that I helped them save money. In turn, when we have another campaign, I can go back to all the owners I switched to AT&T and they'll most likely sign up with whatever I have to offer. JUICE? I think so!

you all are whiners. Live life, make mistakes, accept failure and accomplishments. Cydcor is success to some and a rip-off for others. I am former cydcor. I built a team and came very close to management in about six months. I saw the vagueness of the business from the start and never took it seriously. I milked it for what it was- a direct sales outfit that provided a boot camp for sales profesionals. I walked up to peoples homes and sold them s**t they didnt want or need. Also, the people that work for cydcor are not brainwashed like people want to believe. Many times they are desperate, but at the least they are ambiitious. With Cydcor I learned a lot about people and sales, training, management and got a great job because of the training it provides. You want humility? you are going to need it in any sales job. There is no place better than Cydcor to get it- Because you are going to work your a*s off with less return than you expect. Yes I know that it is a lie, but be smart and after your fourth week understand that there is definently a game being played. People quit and people get promoted that is the game. For all those people that are bitter -you are only mad because you believed it, And whats more- you faked it for a while AND NOW FEEL BAD ABOUT IT. You need to realize you made a mistake and learn rather than blame cydcor. You all make me sick.

This is a totally accurate description of the company at least this branch, Cambridge Communications, Inc. They have the most corrupt leaders and manager in the business. Starting out with verbally abusing employees, ripping off consumers, being dishonest, and sexually harassing some females in this office as well. Cydcor should shut this office down.
