Cynthia is she is the rescue behind their pulls at least at Devore shelter in California, although she is using Paws For Life rescue (pawsforliferescue.net) to do her pulling, although they are do not believe she is a 501 c 3. Allegations from rescue people say that, "She pulls for anyone and she gets the pledges and they get the dogs. In fact, some people say they even have to pay her to do the pulling. People messaged Cynthia to warn her but she did not reply and is still helping them to get dogs." She is ignoring the fact that these dogs are being kept chained up outside. She is ignoring the fact that these people are not a real 501 c 3 rescue. She is ignoring the fact that these people are DNA at their local shelter. She did not do a home check. It seems she just took them at her word. Worse, is even after all the warnings she continues to lie to defend her actions and continues to work with this rescue. Her behavior is already unacceptable, as sending dogs to just anyone is irresponsible and dangerous.
Well Cynthia still is denying she pulled the dogs for this rescue in Kentucky, saying it was another rescue there and not this one. This one that chains the dogs outside and is banned from getting dogs at the local shelter but here it is in her own words: The truth is there in black and white as animal rescuers captured the screen shots online of the KY rescue posting thanking Cynthia Merriman on their Facebook page and then of Cynthia Merriman herself posting a reply to them on their website.
The KY Rescue she is sending dogs to, at least one of the rescues she sends dogs to, is America's Second Chance Pit's Rescue and it is not a 501 c 3. It is ran by Garret S Akins Jr and his wife Libby Keeton Akins. In addition to chaining the dogs outside in all weather, they also feed them Gravy Train and Ol"Roy
facebook.com/secondchancepitsrescue/info The KY rescue was using Second Chance Pit's Rescue but a real rescue with that name complained to Facebook and Facebook made them change it so they added America's to the front of it. This Ky rescue posted an ad on Craigslist offering to trade a pit puppy for a lap top. They also sell them online there. They have been in the news as well as on Facebook, threatening people with Garrett's violent temper for years. it is also online that they used to run a coupon scam together, although I am not sure how that worked. I do know their rescue page liked another breeder's page where a Derek Rayburn was posting also. Derek Rayburn is the ex-animal control officer convicted of dog fighting who lives nearby them in KY. They are now using Paws without Borders for transport. Please look them up also.

Do not foster or adopt to this woman. She is so hateful and violent. I fear for all animals in her care. Her own male dog attacks her foster dogs, her foster Caleigh needed urgent vet care in October 2013 after being attacked. She was supposed to send Caleigh to her new home several months ago but refused to do that because Lemore claimed that only she was qulaified to adopt her out. Caleigh is not safe there. The rescue's Lemore fosters for are not actual 501 c 3s and do not seem to care that she is clearly very mentally unstable. She has threatened fellow rescuers and even had a police report filed against her on Jan 3rd, 2013. She continues to threaten to physcially harm people and or to sue them. She is a compulsive liar. She threatens to file false reports against legit rescues who stand up to her and speak out in an effort to try to protect animals from her. Lemore Aizenman has an unspayed female which she hides from animal control when they come out also. In addition to Lemore's issues with animal control, her dog's aggression issues (her dog should really just be an only dog), and her obvious mental health issues....she also is a hateful racist as you can see by the screen shots above. I am digusted to have ever been friends with her. I am physically afraid for my life. Lemore knows where I live. I am also scared to death for the foster dog still in her care. Not to mention, these dog fights happen in front of her very young child....he could easily be hurt by that....plus, living with someone that mentally unstable has got to be considered child abuse. I am reporting her to children protective services as well.
I am digusted to learn she is wealthy and brags about it and that she sells insurance to people knowing what a hateful bigot she is.
