We have also experienced the nightmare that comes with dealing with D&J Auto parts.

We ordered parts for a toyota truck well over a month ago. To date, they still have not arrived. All phone conversations with Charles and his coworkers have resolved nothing. Their false promises of return phone calls and apologies have gone on for far to long.

I research how to file a complaint with this company; after all I would like the $170.00 charge reversed on my credit card. The Federal Trade Commission has a brochure entitled "FTC FACTS for Consumers" which was very informative and provided a sample letter for a complaint. The Federal Trade Commission in conjunction with the Direct Marketing Association has organized the FTC's Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Trade Regulation Rule. I filed certified correspondence to D&J Auto parts giving them 5 business days to resolve this problem by canceling the order and credit the charges to card or I shall seek third party assistance. I carbon copied the letter to the Indiana State Better Business Bureau.

I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. They will not do an individual investigation into wrongdoings; however they will track how many people complain. With enough complaints they will investigate them. I have also written my credit card company enclosing a copy of the certified letter so they can initiate a dispute regarding the charge. It is very important to do this within 30 days of the next billing cycle in which the charge generated.

It is my hope that I will get my money back and that everyone else that has been ripped off by this business will too. Everyone should file a complaint with the FTC about D&J Auto's business practices. In my research, I found that there have been 58 state registered complaints against them; with mine there are now 59.

This person cancelled the order and next day he wroter to the rip off riport. He was given a full refund. We were unaware of this report until now.
