Bradenton,#2Consumer Suggestion
Sat, February 11, 2006
As explained in a prior thread to your post. You are entitled to put a 100 word consumer comment on your DAC/USIS report that will be merged with the entry from each company. You also have a right to recieve, in writing, the actual complaint each company submitted and who submitted it, as well as the right to file a dispute. Under FEDERAL law the DAC/USIS report is regulated and your rights protected under the provisions of the FCRA. You can sue for false statements, and erroneous entries. The companies must be able to provide proof to keep the negative entry on your DAC report. DAC/USIS is no stranger to lawsuits and civil penalties. OOIDA has a class action lawsuit on them right now for the very same thing. Also file your complaint with the FTC online. Good luck
