Dallas Dodge in Dallas, Georgia never did make an appeal to keep my business, they were satisfied with how much they ripped me off. I went to their place of business, told them how I felt and how much grief they caused me and my family, they didnt care. We left and decided it is not our business to ensure Dallas Dodge no longer rips off other, what I found out is the community already knows about their reputation. My only regret is not asking others about this reputation. Well, now I know. God will catch up with these people, no doubt about it. What goes around certainly will come around.

I too welcome a resolution and dialogue with Dallas Dodge. In fact I have been in contact with this dealership since the sale took place. When I returned the van I bought a day and a half after the sale the dealership towed it back to my house. At the dealership that day I tried to get them to come clean with the sale and explain why they did not give me $11,500 on my trade as they had promised. When I called the salesmanager to ask him why he lied to me, the man hung up the phone on me. Now I have received a threatening letter from a lawyer telling me they are accusing me of slander and libel. Well, its just not so, all I have said is completely true and can be proven. Again, I welcome a resolution from Dallas Dodge and if they do resolve this fairly I will gladly sing my praises in this forum for their efforts. We will see.

See the salesman's mouth move and words come out? Pretend he is speaking in a foreign tongue that you do not understand because you cannot TRUST a single thing he says. Only the paperwork counts as Jason says "The consumer also signed a Buyers Order with the same numbers as the Retail contract." But Jason, this is like a shell game. You and people like you shuffle papers so fast to get people to sign without reading them that it is called deception, because what you say verbally is not in the written words. Should the customer read what they are signing? Of course, but they have TRUST that you will have on the papers what you have said. For Jason, et al: Definition of trust: "of believing in the honesty and reliability of others;". The actions of this dealership and similar ones are unscrupulous. The deception is a slimey thing to do even if it is not illegal. And I got a real belly laugh out of your statement "We regret the fellings (sic) the consumer has for our dealership in this particular transaction, and are sad there seems to be no resolution." NO RESOLUTION - this is because YOU (the dealer) will not resolve it. The thing to do, that only TV shows seem to do, is to have a hidden tape recorder or camera and record everything that is said - then lets see that playout in court.

Dallas Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep firmly stands behind the Retail agreement signed by the consumer. The consumer also signed a Buyers Order with the same numbers as the Retail contract. Also, the consumer signed a Notice to the Customer that clearly states there is NO 3 day recession on a vehicle purchase when the consumer signs the paperwork at the dealership. We regret the fellings the consumer has for our dealership in this particular transaction, and are sad there seems to be no resolution. We have responded to the Better Business Bureau as well and welcome these forums for discussion and resolution, but do not recognize slander and liable as a weapon for revenge. We also have several veterans employed and as customers. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

On August 17th, 2004 I went into Dallas Dodge Chrysler Jeep. This dealer is my hometown Dodge Dealer. I was in need of trading in my 2002 Mazda Truck for a Town and Country van that had adjustable peddles. The reason I needed this van was to ensure my wife who is of small stature could drive safely without being too near the drivers airbag. This dealer ensured me I would get $11,500 for my truck and the van would be 1 percent below invoice. I was satisfied with my corporate discount and the deal I was getting for this van. My trade only had 27K miles and in excellent condition, so the dealer was getting a fair deal also. One salesman told me he was a Navy Veteran and we seemed to get along well. We talked of old Navy times and the more he talked I got the impression he really was no Vet but the deal was good and I dismissed it. Well, I got Ripped Off big time. These guys used all kinds of smoke and mirrors to distract me during the signing of the paperwork. I was at the dealership for nearly 5 hours. They wore me down and when it came to signing I trusted them as they told me what was what and to sign. Well, they used a separate paper to show the wholesale price of my trade but still assured me I was getting the $11,500 for the trade. The paper was actually saying I was only getting $7,600 for my trade. They deceived me and added the difference into the financing tell me it was part of the financing. My knowledge of these contracts was not extensive and they knew just how to slide it by me. The dealer said "I was out negotiated" What a crock. When I protested and wanted my truck back and to cancel the contract, they refused and said "tough". Over and over I have contacted this Dallas Dodge and they stopped taking my calls. The sales manager hung up on me. When I served this country and returned to my hometown I thought they would treat me fairly and I trusted them. Was I ever wrong. I am now going to work with Rip Off Reports at getting my money back and all the costs that will incur in doing so.
