Daniels Jewelers Daniels Jewelers Fraudulently Applying Customers for Credit Ripoff Panorama City California
I currently have an account at Daniels Jewelers. Recently I went into the Panorama City store in California to purchase some jewelery. I was told I needed to update my information. I was asked to write down one more reference and my file would be complete. A few days later, I received a letter stating my credit application was declined. This letter is a complete surpise to me because I didn't apply for any new credit. I called the store and was told that updating your information gives them the right to apply you for an additional line of credit. I would have never authorized them to run my credit if they would have informed me of what they were doing.
