The above complaint opposing the services provided by Dataretrieval is groundless. I know about their excellent services since I myself have benefited from them in terms of nominal pricing as well as timely delivery. My hard drive which had my official records and invaluable family photos stopped working. The sad side, I didn't have backups of any of the data in it. I took the drive to a local computer shop who after examining the condition of the trouble advised me to approach Dataretrieval. He also told that the services rendered by Dataretrieval are priced reasonably since I had the fear about what it would cost to recover my data from my media.
I gave a call to the company where one of the rep answered courteously and explained me all about the recovery process. Their dealing was very genuine. The rep told that exact price quote cannot be given at that point without diagnosing the drive., but a rough estimate can be given based on whether it is minor or major problem. They told that the price for recovering data starts at $99 if it is a minor problem and goes up according to the severity since it will need the time and effort to restore with respect to the intensity of the issue. I got convinced with their explanation that was very clear with no confusion added to it or any hidden agenda behind it. Then i sent my drive to them for evaluation. They called me back promptly and gave a report that had the details about the cause and cure of the trouble in my drive. I had a budget in my mind, and to my surprise they quoted me just $250 which was far less than what I expected!
DataRetrieval time and again kept me updated on the developments in recovering the data from my hard drive through calls and emails. Never at any stage did they increase the charge from $250 as mentioned in the above complaint. Data retrieval never slipped away from their commitment of time duration for retrieving data where all my data from my hard drive was successfully recovered and delivered to me promptly.
