Complaint Review: DAV - Nationwide

i am 71 and sick sir i am a life member of the bva+dav . at the start of the paper work to being a life member sir i ask the dav if they could get me to charles george va in asheville nc from hendersonville nc she told why yes sir ever time you call. so when i started bleeding in side the va ask me to come in and now at 71. i called for our dav van to go . i was out side in the cold for over 2 hrs sir . when i saw at the bottom of our hill a van flashing his lights at me? i got my care sir and walked down to see if it was hem yes it was and when i got in he ask for my life member card and i let hem have it . well then on the way sie the driver told me we do not like men from the usmc and military contractors boy wow. i will never get you ever now after this one ride . at the va hospital he bulleyed the staff and me saying i have to go sum were and i will have hem walk back the 19 miles on his care . he also ask me for my dd214 and were i came from? what base i was at and were i was going over there? i told hem over and over sir i am 71 and out of the usmc sir . leater i called hem for a rid and he will not pick up his phone . i called 30 people in the dav one at a time for 1 1/2 and they all told we will get back to you sum day on this? but no one has called me to this day? the nice lady at the membership office told me why he can not say that to you sir we oked you and you can ride every time . the van is at the american legion hall here in hendersonville nc 12 blcoks for me at home. i am a life member of them to sir but when i went down to eat at 11 am a drunk at the bar told me ever one that is a new member here boy and he was over 6 foot tall and 300 lbs and me at 70 and sick on my care told you have to beat me up in the parking lot here to be a hendersonville member wow . i eat my hamberger fast and got out he had a hard time setting up and would not stop looking at me at the bar . i did call in but no one called me back . last dec i called them to pick up a 2 foot tall santa i got for the bar and they did come to my home sir and get it to. but to this day they have not even called to say thanks? i have called them 8 times over the past 5 years to say hi and i am here but they just go he he he and put the phone back down on me why? as for the dav i still need help with my ride sir at 71 and sick last year sir the va cut open my belly and put in a 4 x4 screen and i need to see about it and more i have 6 apointments at our va to keep me alive but the dav got my $350 and i have no rides to get me to our va hospital in asheville nc 19 miles one way . i am 100 disabled sir and am dyslexic and for 6 years the nc state library sent me books ontape for the blind but i get sum better so i do not have them now i ask them sir if you call them they still know me .if you can not help a old sick man at 71 please ask sum one to help me i stared work part time sir at 12 and got 100 % disabled at 56 and worked 12 to 14 hrs a day 6 and 7 day a week for my whole life sir and never been in hot water with the cops .
