David han is probably his made up name, the package was signed for by k Ibrahim which would make gemetric English name David into a Muslim with his real last name ibrahim. This guy buys phones online with new ebay accounts and emails and charges back every time. He has bought two phones from me, after going over my records today he charged back on both. He made an obscure claim on the first phone and lost the case, the second phone he said he didn't receive and I provided tracking proof with signature confirmation and I still lost the case. eBay doesn't do anything to help, i will be fighting him For my money back.
he has been in the business of defrauding people for at least a year now, this is the 5th report on him on this site. His info is below.

Just an FYI - I sold this person an iPhone on Swappa (so he's not only using eBay) and he filed a claim with PayPal stating that the device was iCloud locked and the IMEI/MEID/ESN was bad and could not be activated. The claim was just closed in my favor today.
Here is what I did - Use an esn checker (I used swappa.com/esn) and took a screenshot to submit to PayPal showing the device was not blacklisted.
I used iCloud.com/activationlock and took a screenshot which showed the device was ready for activation (not iCloud locked).
I sent PayPal the original receipt.
David Han used [email protected] - which is different from what I have seen and IS verified. I did ship to this address; which is the same as others.

I was also victimized by "David Han" with a mail fraud scam through Ebay and Paypal for a total of $600 this past week. I received notice today that the Paypal claim was closed in MY FAVOR.
I think it's necessary and actually, it's even our civic duty to help ensure that these scams are stopped in their tracks. I will explain how I was able to have the claim closed in my favor.
I immediately responded to the claim on the Paypal site. He claimed "internal damage" on the new phone I mailed, so I immediately explained in my rebuttal that I had suspicions of it being a scam. I Googled his name and all of these reports popped up. I took screen shots and saved links of these ripoff reports and submitted them to the Paypal conflict resolution website. I also told Paypal that since the phone is new, I can have my Verizon business rep coordinate a replacement phone to swap out for the buyer in the Verizon store (who could refuse that offer if the phone was actually damaged?) Then he stated that it wouldn't activate and it was reported stolen. Again, the same, my response was that I could coordinate Verizon to activate the new, unspoken phone for him.
At this point, I've read horror stories of claims siding in the scammed favor, so I panicked and sent an email to Ebay threatening legal action, said I would subpoena my Verizon business rep and other victims and sue Ebay and Paypal for impropriety and knowingly allowing these scams to happen over and over with no protection in place or oversight to prevent it from happening to others. I also CALLED Paypal. Very important. After explaining what happened and how I have made it my civic duty to find and prosecute this scammer, the Paypal rep said that she would send it to fraud review and if he wants a refund, he will have to prove to them that the phone was stolen. He had 10 days to do this or the case would close and could not be reopened again. Two days later, fraud review closed it indefinitely irregardless of what he could or couldn't prove. "David Han" will not be scamming with that name any longer, but like any thief, he will find another handle to do so.
I have learned lessons while selling on Ebay and a few during this issue as well: Have your original receipt for the product you're selling if possible. Purchase postage through Paypal. Call Paypal and explain your concerns and give them examples of the ripoff reports. Google the mailing address you're sending your product to before you mail it (he has everything shipped to a FedEx/UPS store and not a home address. Google the persons name and address, TOGETHER to find these people before you mail your product. Threaten legal action if need be. Be vigilant and always suspect scamming. When putting items for sale, deter scammer from these activities by posting "SCAMMERS BEWARE, DONT EVEN TRY IT" That was the one thing I forgot to do that I usually do...I got lazy. DO NOT AGREE TO A REFUND AND LET THE MAIL THE ITEM BACK! Only sell to Paypal verified buyers. He wasn't verified. The warning signs were all there and even seasoned sellers and smart people get scammed.
Good luck out there and thank you for reporting this disgusting thief so that I could recoupe my funds and sanity. I'm sure there are many more victims that haven't posted.
Screw you Ibrahim, David or Jimmy Phan, whoever you may be.
