I wanted a new vett. The ad on the computer said 68,00.00 dollars plus 300.00 rebate. I wanted a fast transaction so I let them know I will take the deal. The deal was being processed and my wife had to come in and sign. At that time they told my wife the price 69,000.00, and her knowing I wanted the car she signed. I was pressered in to giving a 20,000.00 dollar downpayment. The next day I had the paper work out for my insurance. My wife looked at it knowing something was wrong. I called the dealer and was informed I would get a call back. In three hours my wife tried to call to just get a run around. At this time I called my banks to see if the checks had been through. I was informed that the dealer had gone down and cashed the checks while I was waiting for a call back. You might think at this time I was not happy, the dealer was not getting on the phone with my wife and after several tries she demaned a person to explain what was going on. The main man said we had paid 89,000.00 for a car that we had an ad with the same vin # on it stated the car was 69,000.00. And went even futher to laugh about how we got beat. This is an american can that someone has to be lucky to be able to get. The Chevrolet people only care that its a contract depute and not the fact that there people are practicing robbery to make and exter buck. The name seems not to mean nothing and america companys are going to other countrys to conduct buiness that americans have allways taken car of. In this state if I chouse to go to court I have the chance to lose everything I've worked for if I lose to a company that is so sure there bases are covered that they can laugh at you when they robb you. I ca'nt chance my childrens schooling to fight some big company. Does anyone have an idea. I'm going to see about a permit to picket and will not drive the car ever again. Thank you Chevrolet for not wanting to get involve be cause this company sells alot of your cars every year, at lease thats my best guess. Sell out to the dealers and I'm sure they will all drive your cars while the rest of us get a car made in some other country. Please stop crying that your sales stink because it looks like your doing it yourselfs. Good luck America Peace out David

Exactly how does someone who can't put together two coherent sentences come up with $69,000 for a car? Let's pretend that your story is true. I say that anyone who can afford to spend nearly $70K on a car should be intelligent enough to do research, basic arithmetic and read a contract. If they managed to rip you off for $20K anyway, then...good for them!!
