I have been a satisfied DealDash participant for over 2 years now. I have had an overall great experience with the site. Yes we all have issues from time to time but every issue I have contacted support about has been resolved in a timely manner. Yes I have been able to buy items I bid on and not won and received all the bids I placed during the auction back after paying the posted retail price.
Penny auctions are not for everyone and come with a degree of risk as well as reward. As for the price of the bids when I joined in 2012 the original bid cost was .60 cents per bid. If you watch the site you will see bid costs can be as low as .14 cents each. Using .60 cents per bid when calculating the cost of a win is not accurate. The cost would be a blend of prices paid per bid from .60 to .14 cents per bid.
My advise to anyone considering playing the auctions at DealDash is to do your homework.Monitor the site for a few weeks to see how the game is played and who some of the other bidders are and thier patterns. To be successful you need to have the time to watch and learn. To start only bid on things you would typically buy. A $25 gift card is worth $25 and if you buy it now after not winning the auction you get the $25 card shipped free and all your used bids back. If you don't do your homework you are destined for a negative experience.
I have played all the major Penny Auctions sites since 2012 and DealDash is heads above the rest. (free shipping, customer service that responds and resolves legitimate issue, new auctions every minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Bottom line is to stick your toes in the water before you dive in!! Doing this will make the swim much more enjoyable. Do your homework and be better prepared.
