I answered a radio ad to purchase a PrePaid MasterCard Distributorship and was mailed a business opportunity video tape and quality sales materials.
I agreed to become a distributor which involved setting up of Kiosks with VCR showing video tapeed messages in English/Spanish to induce customers to pay $29.95 to vendor as cash register for an Activation Card and to fill it out an mail into Miami, FL where they were to supposedly issued you an FDIC Bank Issued PrePaid MasterCard within ten (10) days. SORRY - NO CARDS EVER SENT - There is where the SCAM lies.
Everything up to that point looked legitimate, but when it comes to ACTUALLY getting a PrePaid MasterCard sent toyou - IT NEVER HAPPENS.
I lost $24,617.00 to these scammers and another $5,000 in setting up my website (now defunct) and this total loss of $30,000.00 was to be my retirement money. All I wanted to do was to have a little business on the side where I could have a "route" and collect the sales from the vendors on a weekly basis.
MasterCard itself knew of these crooks, but did say that there are some legitimate banks issuing prepaid mastercards at some locations in America. Sadly, for me, this was a crooked company.
Look out for the Debit Corporation of America -or- the Credit Corporation of America -or- "AMERICARD"
Watch out for the company president named JACK GORDON or NANCY TIPP and look out for SANDY GOLD, DISTRIBUTORSHIP SALES, or watch out for LEE SMALLWOOD, Locator and definitely watch out for HARVEY WALL, Operations Manager. All Crooks and gutless ones at that. - they haven't got the courage to hold you up with a gun, but rather, through their twisted, evil and sick minds, they steal from you, your children and your grandchildren WHILE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.
If there are any other people who were swindled by these crooks, please report it to the authorities, although, expect to get a royal "KISS-OFF" from the Law Enforcement community.

They are located at www.doacs.state.fl.us This department is THE department handling the complaints. Forget going anywhere else for now.

I just returned from Florida where I went to get a refund of my $25,000.00 spent on becoming a six (6) Kiosk PrePaid M/C Distributor. Naturally, Debit Corporation of America came up with more stalling tactics and printed me out a "refund letter" which was unsigned. They claim that after 1/1/04, their Attorney will send me "Release of Claims forms" prior to receiving my refund. Guess what, when you go to 11900 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33181, you find a directory outside the main door. Debit Corporation of America has so little integrity, they are listed as Sunshine Processing at suite # 699. Also, you will find other DBA's located in the same building, such as TELE KING,at suite# 522, AmeriCard Dispensing Corporation, Suite# 250,INTELLICAll, suite#201, Worldwide Phone Card Marketing Service Group, suite# 250 All these appear to be the SAME COMPANY operating with many DBA's and illegally at that. Finally, the "Main Office" of the President, Jack Gordon is a mere "shell" one desk mini-suite and a bogus main office. The majority of the Debit Corporation of America employees [About 50-75 members] are all located at the office improperly labled as the Sunshine Processing Company (instead of Debit Corporation of America)located at 11900 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 699, Miami, FL 33181. By the way, I spoke with their "Program Developer" Bill Martin, who claims that Debit Corporation of America is the actual victim, as they claim to have spent $250,000 on cards they never received and therefore could not make good on their promise to fill the orders of our customers and ourselves that NEVER received a "PrePaid MasterCard" from DCA. The latest replacement scam is to be a "PrePaid MastCard" underwritten by "CASHPASS" a trademark of BANKFIRST of Sioux City, South Dakota [checkout www.cashpass.com" There have not yet been ANY of these latest generation "PrePaid MasterCards" issued as yet and don't hold your breath. The Debit Corporation of America located at Suite# 699 at 11900 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33181 is nothing more than a "BOILER ROOM" operation with questionable looking people,dirty floors and classic deceptive tactics desogned to keep people separated from their money. The state of Florida department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs in Tallahassee, FL needs to investigate this unlicensed Miami Operation using a false name on the Directory and Front Door. I've been in Touch with other "PrePaid MasterCard" Distributors who all say that Debit Corporation of America may send you the kiosks and mini TV/VCR's, but NEVER send you out an ACTUAL prepaid MasterCard - SCAM - SCAM - SCAM Let's get together to run these crooks into jail. They are still in business, stealing money from our families. What's up with that?
