I have purchased MANY Dell computers, printers, tv's, etc. Not one product I have purchased came without some sort of problem. I thought I was smart when I purchased the Gold plan warranty which gave me direct access to support instead of waiting on hold for the dreaded minimum hour... When I needed the help almost 2 years into my warranty, they replaced my tower with supposedly a comparable. It was not comparable at all. I called many times and got nowhere with them on the phone. Months later I received a letter stating my warranty was about to expire. I called to tell them I had a little over a year left. After speaking with many people I finally found someone who I thought was going to help me, Clifford Rosario. He told me he saw that my warranty was supposed to go for another year and would have the problem fixed the next day. After trying him back for weeks, I finally spoke with him again for him to tell me sorry we are no longer with that warranty company and your warranty is no longer active. He then said he would refund me $100 back since I purchased a three year warranty but only got two years. Over a month later I still have not received my $100, still getting the run around and magically my computer stopped working. Has anyone else ever had that happen? I know two people so far that have had a similiar issue and we all agree dell inputs some sort of program into our systems to make them stop working whenever they wish.

The computer I originally purchased was over $2500, it was not a cheap one. The one they sent to replace was maybe a $500 tower, if that. Dell will not stand by their warranties, they will not stand by their word and they sell junk for computers. I have had a HP computer and have NO issues with it, ever! I have a HP printer, no problems. My Dell printers go out EVERY year after the warranty is up and they DO NOT sell parts to fix them, you have to purchase a new printer. They say it would cost as much to repair them as it does to replace them, why is that their decision?

I have had three Dell laptops, like an idiot I kept upgrading as new ones would come out, thinking thye would work better then the last. Nope, they are all horrible right around a year of having them they fall apart. My son has an HP laptop, no problems, ever!

I would HIGHLY recommend NO ONE EVER PURCHASE FROM DELL! They are the WORST company I have EVER worked with and have no problem RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!

..or are you already? The truth is HP makes crappy PCs and laptops too.. In fact I can't think of a single assembly line manufacturer that makes a decent machine since Dell bought out Alienware.. except Apple, but who the heck wants to pay a premium price for such a mediocre product as a Mac? Find someone to custom build a rig for you, or read up on how to do it yourself, it's not hard. If you think Dell has installed some sort of timebomb malware (sounds like a big conspiracy theory to be honest) just back your files up and do a clean install of your OS, viola. Seriously, if you want to have an ounce of credibility in your report it would be a good idea to refrain from adding "But [INSERT BRAND] is so much better! been working foreverr!!1" you really do look like either a: an HP employee, or b: a fanboy, which such pathetic antics I had always thought to be exclusive to the Nintendo and XBOX brands.
