Dell Financial Services does not know how to handle payments on lease accts.  I upgraded my office computer system and sent old system back.  Since this time the employees can't seem to apply payments to right accts.  In July of 2009, I sent in a payment paying the current month due and additional money to get me ahead for the coming months.  In August of 2009, I received a refund check for $110 and a past due notice on the same day and dated the same day.  For once I managed to reach a rep. (American...believe it or not).  She couldn't figure out the problem but got her supervisor to help.  With the refund I received, I had to repay a partial amount for the previous month.  This payment was made to the rep. over the phone.  I was told that took care of the problem and the acct. was showing current.  A week or so later I received another past due notice for what I had already paid.  Dell collections called my phone every two seconds.  They'd hang up and call from another number.  I do not answer my phone as I go to school full time, work at night, and do homework.  They will not leave a message but I know it's them.  I have told them in the past to please leave a message and I will call them back when I have a break.  They're too stupid to grasp this concept.  I have tried calling them on numerous occasions only to get a recording, "all reps. are currently busy..........".  I will only hold for so long.  I then got a collections agency notice.  I called the company and told them to let Dell know that I would not pay them another payment until they could straighten out my acct.  I also told them that if this isn't done, I will pack up my computer system, send it back and never pay them another dime and they could just put me on the bad credit list.  Dell will take your money in a heart beat and are probably making a profit from overcharging.  I've had enough and don't give a sh*t what they do at this point.
