I had a decent credit score, but I needed it to be just the tiniest bit higher to get a first-time home buyers loan. It would take me about 2 years to get it where I needed it. I dedided to enroll in this because Delray told me they would get my interest rates lowered so that I could pay the money off faster and it would not come up on my credit report that I was enrolled in debt relief of any kind.

I said ok and sent them the first month's payment within a week of first speaking with them. After I sent the first payment, they sent me another letter saying they needed to raise my payments a few dollars.

They never sent me a statement for the 2nd month, but I had saved the paper about my rate increase, so I just wrote a note and sent the money in a regular envelope to them. Later that month, I recieved a notice that they had not recieved payment. I called them and was told not to worry if I had already sent it. I have never recieved a statement from them.

They e-mailed me after 3 months in their system and told me their had been a problem. I called them and they told me that Chase Bank did not accept the offer for debt counseling, so they hadn't paid them! I called Chase and found out that I now owed them over $300 in late fees alone and they jacked my interest rate to 27%!!! I explained to them that I didn't know because Delray had just told me, and Chase said they couldn't do anything until I was up to date on payments and all late fees were paid, which is over $500.

I recently recieved a letter from Providian saying that they are going to drop my debt relief because Delray is not getting them their money on time every month.

I recently spoke with my loan officer (the one who said I could get a home in 2 years the way I was going) and she said I won't be able to get a home for at least 5 years now. All because of Delray.

I have tried to switch to someone else, but was told that my creditors "will not be understanding twice", and will not help with debt relief again. I am now to the point of saying f**k it and filing for bankruptcy. My credit is already down the drain for at least the next 5 years, so I might as well make it 7 and not have to worry about how I'm going to pay all this s**t off. Don't go to Delray!!! I had A- credit before this and now a bank will give a welfare recipient a loan before me!

I just found out that Delray has not paid any of my creditors. I recieved letters saying they were closing my accounts and the full balances were due immediately, with the now $500 in late and overlimit fees which came from Delray not paying them. I filed a report with the BBB, but they said it will take up to 30 days to respond. By then I will owe over $650 in late and overlimit fees alone, not to mention my jacked up interest rates on all cards. I called them and they told me they have been paying all the creditors on time and it must be the banks' fault. That means I should believe that 3 well known and respected banks have all made the same mistake 3 months in a row and Delray has done everything right? If anyone can help me please give me ideas on what to do.
