From where did the Atlanta connecting flight originate? THAT'S where the weather most undoubtedly caused the delay. Sure, the weather was OK here in Detoit and the same in Phoenix, or where ever it was going. But if the first airport was shut down due to snow, ice, fog, etc., do you really expect a plane to take off? No, I don't plan on selling my stock in Delta either. This owner is telling you what happened--at no charge! BTW, not every Delta flight originates in Atlanta.

My family flies Delta twice a week and we have done so for the past 3 years. Never had rude service like you allege. Additionally, many flights originate in other cities/states, so you have to take the weather in THAT area into consideration. If your flight is originating in Utah and they are experieincing a snow storm, for example, that will definitely cause delays. BTW: Delta pilots just had their pay slashed by 17 percent. Don't expect too much from a bankrupt airline. Obviously, they are struggling and doing the best they can to stay afloat.

First of all I did ask to speak to a manager who would not get on the phone And yes I did check the weather. We were in Detroit. I was not rude I just wanted someone to be honest instead of lieing to every one. When there is bad weather no planes are allowed to leave and if things were on the up and up they would not have kept changing their stories. No one is asking them to be perfect stuff happens but at least be honest. When I paid for the ticket I was honest show me and the other passengers that much. My sister tried talking to someone a was treated worse than I was I bought the ticket so I had every right to be concerned about what happened to her. I sure fell sorry for your family.

Is your sister a deaf mute? That would explain why you are the one making all of the phone calls about her problem. I don't see how you were ripped off. She was the one that had the delays, she was the one that slept in the airport. SHE is the one that should have the complaint. Since she has been silent, maybe she didn't have that big of an issue with the problems she had. Where was she flying from? You talk about a connecting flight in Atlanta and holding a plane in Phoenix. Just want to know where the criss cross jouney of the country started.

Delay's aren't only based on the weather of your departure location, but also the destination location as well. Did you check what the weather was like in Detroit? Let's see... Detroit on Dec. 29 might have a lot of ice or snow. I especially like how you wanted to get a hold of the owner. I own some stock in Delta, how about we have a little talk since I'm part owner. Why don't you start out with baby steps, and if the ticketing agent can't help you, talk to the manager. If the manager can't help you find out from that person who can. But, always be polite when talking with these people. Nothing will get them to hang up on you faster than someone who is irrational.
