I paid $15.00 for their "Baggage Handling" fees, only to find they sent my luggage to Tampa, Florida. Nowhere on my mainfest was Tampa or any part of Florida posted. It took three extra business days, and they disputed that the charges to the account were validated... They sent me a $25.00 credit voucher for my next trip with them (after I told them I want nothing more to do with them, than to just get my refund of $15.00). I am a man of principle, if you didn't earn it, don't take it. Apparently Delta Airlines feels that their mishandling of baggage and poor customer service is justified and should be rewarded. If I can possibly help it, I wouldn't ever fly Delta again.. Furthermore, I sat next to a woman that said "She never had to pay a cent for her baggage fees, and she had check-in bags like I did." Can anyone say discrimination? How the hell could she get free baggage per check-ins, while the rest of us pay? What, does Delta assume who's worthy of paying and who's not required by social standing? If so, I think Delta would be looking at a lot of discrimination suits before them. One way to find out... Be careful when doing business with Delta Airlines. The prices they charge for M&Ms and such are outrageous as well, $2.00 for that and $3.00 for disposable headseats to watch a movie or show? I remember when airlines had those installed, and you could wear them without paying a cent. What happened to that? Delta, don't blame the economy for your mistakes. People are not so dense, and realize that you are trying to make profit, while giving more limits to the customer than they deserve!!!
