For the past 2 months I have been getting phone calls saying that I owe on payday loans. I did have payday loans in the past, but I have paid them all. These people are not American, they do not speak English, and portray themselves as Officers, claiming they are with Deptartments of Law and Investigation, Crime and Fraud, or such other. One man called me at home and got me so nervous and threatened that I would have a warrant out for my arrest the next day if I did not pay half of what I owe. Like an idiot I did pay him, and then I paid him off 2 weeks ago.

I did pay one other company before that. I have been getting 2 more phone calls now from officers and I just became suspicious. I know I do not owe all these payday loans. They ask to send me a fax with a copy of my license, my last 4 SS #'s on it and to write a statement. I finally talked to a credit help service and that's when they told me this was a scam. I am so mad because they did get me twice. Both times I paid over $700. The last one I paid was with a man named Andy Smith. His phone # is 716-541-0950. They are all out of NY. Last night at home the other officer Jacob Martin, called me, and I finally told him that I knew this was a scam and I had filed a report with my State Attorney General's office which I did. I want the phone calls to stop and if there was any way I could get my money back from Andy Smith I wish I could.

I am a single mother, work one job, struggle to pay my bills, and these people take advantage. They are of Indian decent, some you can hardly understand. They call my work all day long. I am sick of them and scammers. Yes, I was stupid to fall for the first 2, but I am glad someone was honest with me and told me that this was a scam. I really hope somehow, someway these people can be stopped. I am glad I found your website, because I was reading an article about this same situation. Only in the article the other person was smart enough to know it was scam right away.
