Some months ago two vehicles here were delivered to DESKINS MOTORS for preventative maintenance. When there, the shop failed to fill up the coolant on one vehicle and left the oil pan drain plug dripping on the other. When this was discovered I purchased coolant and filled up the one vehicle and brought the other back to the dealer ASAP for the drain plug leak.

The drain plug still leaked. A puddle forms under the engine. It is obvious it will not be fixed by DESKINS. Last week DESKINS called and wanted me to buy a new car. I told them I was not interested because of how I was treated when spending thousands of dollars on maintenance. The new service manager Rick Miller telephoned and asked me to bring one vehicle in for correction. I wrote a letter confirming out conversation. Today, Monday, Mr. Miller telephones me in the morning and begins to tell me how he thinks my report of the leaking oil pan is a lie because the subsequent repair attempt was not documented. Mr. Miller proceeds to then tell me how my vehicles were never serviced at a dealership, when in fact they were.

Mr. Miller then tells me he is rescinding his offer to inspect and repair the damage(s) perhaps caused by his department, because he does not feel there is anything he can do to make it right.

Did they ever check, much less change or even verify the presence of lubricants in the various places in these vehicles?  They charged me for doing so, but then they charged me for coolant they never installed.
