Ok here is my story. I saw the commercials and believed them and the admissions rep who really is not so much an admissions representative as you get at a real collage but a commissioned sales person masquerading as an education professional. However that's what this school is all about the degree you'll get is all fluff and no substance.

I went to DeVry and earned a Degree called Telecommunications Management sounds impressive doesn't it? However when I took this overpriced piece of paper (over $27,000 in debt now) to the job market no one was impressed at all with it. The only job offers I received I could have gotten without the Degree and were for less than half of what I made as a Truck driver.

The bottom line is I could have went to Community College and gotten a better education for about a third of the price and all of the credits earned would be transferrable to a real engineering College like NJIT or Stevens. As it turns out real Colleges will not accept any of my credits. This institution exists by playing on the hopes of the students who go there and the parents and Government loans that finance this SCAM. Yes something needs to be done about schools like this. Please if you read this do yourself a big favor and go to a real college even a community college. I have no agenda if Devry were legit Id be singing their praises but if you don't believe me and go there in time you'll remember this warning and will be right here on rip-off report posting your own sad story.(that includes you current students who still believe the B.S. wait till you try and get work you'll post again) Best of luck hope you benefit from my experience.

I heard a Joke about them on Family guy went something like this. Hey my son got accepted to DeVry University oh says the other guy what did he do to get in there open the door?

Why do you expect Harvard's education from DeVry?

It is funny that Mr. Remi from New Jersey put down DeVry and everybody who's attending to DeVry. He picked his own degree, Telecommunications Management. I don't understand why people who graduated from DeVry expected to be spoon fed. So what if you got a degree, there are thousands of people out there with the same degree. What do you have to prove to other people other than Telecommunications Management? Truck driving experience? That's not going to get you the job. Everybody who graduated from college has to start from the bottom. What's the point of getting a Management degree in Telecommunication with no relevant experience. Truck driving does not count as Telecommunication experience. Funny how he discredited DeVry...What if he goes to another college, say NJIT, and he can't find a job because he doesn't have experience. Is he going to say NJIT is a rip off too? Oh yeah, my friend who is a truck driver made almost $150,000 a year, driving day and night. There is no way you are going to get that kind of money just graduating from college. If you made half of that, I am impressed.
