Complaint Review: Diana Peters - Hollywood Florida

 There is something wrong with this lady and advise noone to get any dogs from her or give her money for any reason. I took my daughter to buy a dog from her. The dog we were looking to adopt, that she told us to come and check him out, of course wasnt available. The dog was too sick with kennel cough so we ended up taking another dog.

Once we brung him home I noticed he was also sick (coughing, sneezing, weezing). Also every time the dog got up from his bed there was different bugs crawling around on the bed every single time. I was told he was given antibiotics and a flea and tick treatment called advantix. She said if I saw fleas and ticks that they were dying or already dead. Well after 3 days of watching crawling bugs in his bed, I purchased my own shampoo and bathed him. After that bath I gave, no more bugs!!!

However, the other things I had to put up with from this dog was...#1 she had him eating table food. My family could not sit and eat in peace without him barking at us the entire time for our food. She even advised me to give him Mcdonalds, chicken and rice. Said that was his favorite. He refused to eat the dog food because he was badly spoiled off of human food. #2 She have the dog trained to sleep in the bed. She admitted she lets the small dogs sleep in the bed. He was always jumping in my bed and it got to the point to where he would growl and try to bite me if I reached for the leash to remove him off the bed.

This leads to my next problem #3 The dog was too aggressive. It was to my understanding that a dog supposed to protect and alert. He barked and growled alright...he barked and growled at my kids. My daughter couldnt even open her door. He would go running, barking and growling very aggressively. She was so scared especially since she is autistic. He would also bark at mothers pushing their babies in strollers. 

He was just out of control and had to go. I alerted Diana that I was bringing him back and she always knew the problems. We only had the dog a week and I had to keep calling asking her whats wrong with the dog and all these issues. She said I could do a swap and she had been posting some other smaller dogs I was willing to give a try again. She told me she had 3 mini dogs I could check out.

Knowing I was on my way to do a return and swap, she informed me that she sold 2 of the dogs. Was quick to take my dog back and brung out a very sick dog coughing all over the place. Now she still has my $100 and we have no dog. We wasnt even invited inside again. She rushed us away, always claiming she is busy.

Now the deal is that she was receiving more dogs the next day and they were also small like we were looking for. She said she would email me pics and of course she has not one time tried to contact me about anything. In her words, we had priority over everyone else. That was a lie!!!

She is still constantly posting new dogs on facebook, but what happened to emailing me a pic? Now I see a small dog being adopted, but what happened to us being priority? My next step is to call her for the 3rd time since I returned the dog we first adopted.

Like always, she doesnt want to talk. She has to go, all the dogs are sick and thats her response to me before she says " Im not going to argue, dont call me" and of course she hangs up in my face!!

We are now gonna take this as a lesson learned and stick to more reputable places like the humane society. We lost $100, Im sure she smoked or drunk that up. She does not care about you loosing anything and dont wanna talk about it. She is unprofessional and dont stick to her words and promises.

I can go on and on about other things and the treatments of other dogs but my point is made already. What a bad experience and wish I would have seen these rip off reports before hand. I tried to see good in her but this is wrong what she is doing to people and how she is treating these dogs. They are not in the best of care with her and neither is the money she collects from everyone!!!
