First part of this year (2006), I began shopping online for a Nikon D50 SLR digital camera. Digital Liquidators caught my attention, with their 2-lens kit. I guess I was snagged. I ordered the camera kit. I quickly got an email, requesting that I call them to verify the purchase was valid. The hook was set. I called and that is when they began reeling me (sucker)in. The gentleman, began suggesting a "top-of-the-line" memory card(see attached). I said sure. He suggested an extra battery, as the one it comes with, "only lasts about 20 minutes." He then suggested a 3-lens filter kit. He suggested one kit for each lens. He also suggested a quick charger. Then he suggested the camera bag.

I received my order rather quickly. I opened it, and everything seemed alright. My invoice itemized the contents, but the prices were listed as 0.0, all the way down the column, but did show the final charge to my credit card. I sent them an email, asking for a copy that would itemize the costs. I got an email back, saying they couldn't help me, unless I call. During this time, I went online, and did some cost comparing. Man O Man, was I a sucker(fool).

The memory I received, is not even on their web page, however, the equivelent on their page cost $599.99, for 1GB of SD mem. The actual card I did receive, was Transcend 1GB x80 SD mem, that should have cost no more than $50.00. My battery charger is not even on their web site, but I still paid the listed $139.00. The extra battery that I realized was exactly the same as the included one, cost me $179.99. It should have only cost about The camera bag I received, is obviously not for a Nikon D50. It is not even on their web page. Something somewhat similar, cost me either $149.00 or $99.00. The exact same product is listed twice, but with different prices. Based on what I have learned thus far, I would have to guess the former. The filter kits I received, cannot be found on the web page, but I paid $279.00...each kit. Each kit, should have only cost no more than $30.00 each. Stay away from this company (which apparently uses various aliases) Beware. Do your homework/research. The product(s) I did receive have been working...so far. God bless those who find themselves reading/submitting these reports.
