Dillards shady, deceitful,underlying agenda when hiring employees Sherman Texas
I was employed with this company from subnitting resume to online site. ASM called me in on a Sunday for interview. Talked to manager on Monday. Signed abritration papers. Started on Wednesday.
From the beginning I knew something VERY wrong.Co-employees and assistant manager told me to put out stock with no planograms. They told me we didnt carry something then it would show up next day.
Security was keeping close eye on me. Told me I was ft but gave me pt hours. Manager had meeting where all he talked about was Belks; and wanted people there(not all store employees were invited)to eat bagels.Noticed music was very strange being played in my section.
Then people I knew from the community started coming in questioning me over topics I never heard of-certainly had nothing to do with,,,,Their policy is take credit cards and ATM cards with no ID unless asked for by register.
My register would do different things on different days.The thing that threw me over the edge was they would not take FEDERAL TAX out of my check. Human Resourc person kept acting as if I had a choice whether IRS took or not??? I knew better!!!
Co-employees acted like I was a spy. Clothes that are returned(from little yellow pop labels about 90%)are resold on floor.Name brand clothes are being made in different countries??And same design can be found at Wal-mart for 16th of price.
This was a nightmare for a single mom supporting 2 teenagers!!!

Your absolutely right. in fact around inventroy time at my store, my manager was priceing items that didnt even belong to dillards to start with in order to "buffer" her losses. They play extreemyl religious music in my store, the customer service is awefull (I try my best) my managers only care ablout themselves, they have the highest turnover rate tan any company in the world!! my girl that was hired last week already wants to leave. people from macys tell me they pitty me when I tell them where I work! They are so discriminating and unfair in the ammounts of hourly pay they hire everyone at...its insane. I only stay in so I can take the company down personally! I did a safety meeting today and nothing will be fixed, let me tell you, it is an extreemly dangerous and unhealthy place to work as well.
