Direct Commerece Academy This company targeted me because I am a college student. BEWARE everyone it's a scam! Someone needs to shut these scammers down PLEASE Louisville, Internet
I am a college student of an online school. I went to sign into my campus and a box appeared that said attention A.P.U. students earn money from home! I clicked on the link which took me to a page that said for $2.95 I could order my work from home kit. I thought heck it's 3 bucks so I did. I didn't realize that the kit was to be accessed online once I paid for it with my credit card. I looked at my "kit" and it was a woman talking about the 5 steps they I have to do with them (direct commerce academy) to brgin my home business and start earning money.. Setting up a webpage which they would do for me but it carried a $39.99 monthly charge for my domain name. I had access to Doba which is a drop ship company who was affiliated with Ebay. I only had to set up an ebay account and they would do everything else. I would keep the profits from my ebay sales. It said I had a 10 free trial and their business consultant would phone me to help with the process. I'm still buying at this point thinking I'll try it free for 10 days and see what happens. Maybe I would cancel, maybe not. I even researched Doba and found them to be a ligament drop ship company. 3 days later my credit card is charged by Direct Commerce Academy $139.99!! I got on the computer and researched Direct Commerce Academy on Google and could not believe my eyes! Everyone on there had the same exact story as mine. I have called the number that the Direct Commerce Academy provided and have yet to reach anyone. It just rings without an answer and no answering machine. I have printed everything out that I have found out about this company to turn over to my bank. The bank manager is turning it over their investigation department. And for the record, there was no fine print, there's not even any indication that there was a $139.00 charge to listen to the woman and her 5 steps.. Someone needs to shut these people down!!!
