Direct Gardening Order Dwarf Jumbo Burning Bush (2). Received 6 stems with brown broom-like tops. Bloomington, IL Illinois

Ordered on-line and received what was supposed to be 2 Dward Jumbo Burning Bush Plants. I actually received 6 approximately 7" long sticks with broom-like straw on top.
Thought, oh well, maybe these sticks have to be planted in soil and will become the desired plant ordered...ha..ha. They have been in potted soil for over a month with no change in looks or growth. Have taken pictures to this "rip-off".. Order amounted to $19.97 so somewhat cheap lesson.
