Direct Hit Promotions Inc (aka; Direct Hit Apparel, Direct Hit Promotions) basically run a Ponzi scam, using the Business as a front and the name of some good sources like the City of Vaughan to borrow money. They, as in the owners Rick Downey and Anna Howells claim the banks will not help them out, but they need money for a large order for the City of Vaughan and will pay back as soon as the purchase order is processed. Months later they claim they are being screwed around by the City of Vaughan in my case and hope to have the issue resolved soon.
Turns out there was never any order of this size as confirmed after contacting the City of Vaughan. They owe me over $75,000.00 they used to pay off personal bills and other personal debts. to other people to make it look like they are good on their word. Lately they have been taken cash deposits and delivering nothing. They have been evicted from the Business Address of 33 Armstrong Avenue Unit 1, Georgetown, Ontario L7G 4S1 failure to pay rent and all equipment seized and sold off. They have been even been evicted from their residence of 37 Webster Way, Georgetown, Ontario L7G 5J6 due to foreclosure for not paying any bills.
Rick has filed for personal bankruptcy and named all business debts as personal dept. Rick claims on his bankruptcy that he is separated from Anna, yet they live together in the basement of his moms house in Toronto (Etobicoke) and attend all family functions as a couple. All everyone in the family knows is they moved to Etobicoke. They vacation and party together all the time. Although Anna has been ripped off the most, they are a team going around ripping good people off.
Be very careful and do not give them any money until you get what you want. Since they don’t have the equipment anymore they have to get others to do the work if they actually do the work. Lately they just take the money and run.

Rick cannot even go into Bankruptcy without trying to rip them off.
His two year period has been extended another year and now 2016, being petitioned to be extended due to non-compliance.
He is just using the system to rip people off.
He is no longer with Anna and has moved onto his next victim.
I'm sure karma will eventually catch up to him.
Just be aware he is trying to start the same scam over again.
