My service with Direct TV went down on March 15th. I had to report this to the onsite vendor for Direct TV which is Consolidated Smart Systems and the local apartment mangerConsolidated said the earliest date I could expect a technician is March 19th. Now, after four calls to each party involved and $109.00 a month for Direct TV service, do you find this acceptable?

The first call I made to Direct TV appeared on my account; as for Consolidated, the young woman I spoke with today told me nothing (on their side) was noted showing I had called in a report. I ask for a supervisor, did I get one---NO. So, I requested a local number for Consolidated and received an 800 number which took me right back to the customer service group I had been talking to! Neither side showed empathy or a willingness to work with me on an earlier date for repair.

Oh, here's another little tidbit---when I reported the outage to the apartment manger her remark to me was, will I have them (Direct TV) and my service is working, will good for her! She referred me right back to Consolidated. Direct TV had advised me that it was the apartment manager's responsibility to call Consolidated once I reported it to them. After all, they contract with Consolidated for the repair side of Direct TV's onsite service issues/repairs.

Now I am lost in the loop of Direct TV, who says they cannot intercede on my behalf, Consolidated who can NEVER give you anything but 5 days out for a service call, and my apartment manager who could care less!
