I just wanted to update everyone on my situation. I finally had to buy a Telezapper to put a stop to the nuisance telemarketing calls. This company www.directlytoyou.com is a nightmare! I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau (see the truth about THEM on this website)and they claim to have taken me off of their calling list. Maybe they did, but they sold my phone number and DEBIT CARD NUMBER to God knows how many other businesses! I have had 3 bogus charges to my debit card. I had to contact the bank last Friday to have a new card issued after seeing an unauthorized charge for $12.95 from some company named Hotel Voucher who bills for another company named www.YourVacationLink.com. This happened last Friday March 21st, on Monday, 2 days ago,I got a letter in the mail from some company I have never done business with or even heard of called "Your Vacation Link" saying that they had already charged my debit card for fees for their service. I never ordered anything from anyone but www.directlytoyou.com! This is almost one full year after I ordered the Sewing Genie from www.directlytoyou.com. Folks, be very, very careful when ordering anything off of tv or the internet! Just like the lady above complaining about SM Distributors, I never got the merchandise I originally ordered, I got a lame excuse about "your credit card was denied". That was a flat out LIE!! It's really funny that they have been able to pass my debit card number around and their thieving cronies have been able to make all kinds of bogus charges to my card!

I would recommend you checking your credit card account very often, very carefully. If you do not have many autodebit on it, maybe to request a new one? Credit card companies rather give you a new, then later handle your disputes, when some telemarketers choose the easier way, instead of convince you, very simply charge your card, without your authorization. Check the "As Seen On Tv headquarters" www.youcansave.com scroll down and click on the "affiliate program"... To see in pratice how an "affiliate program" works, check a couple of RipOffReport posts on MWI.....
