Dirty Car Car Wash, Donelson And when your car leaves it is still dirty Nashville Tennessee
I took my 2002 Honda CRV to the Donelson car wash this afternoon 2/7/09 for the advertised car wash for $5.00. When I got to the cashier, there was an additional $2.00 charge added for large vehicle. I asked him why the add on wasn't on the marquee. He said, "this is called dirty car, not dirty SUV". I mentioned that Smith Bros. on 21st Avenue has it on their banner for larger vehicles there is an additional charge. He added we are not Smith Bros. nor any way affiliated with them.
I had had a similiar experience with them once before. That time it was a full service wash. I watched the vacuum guy hit in spots in a SUV, and then sent it through. I said to him I wanted my SUV (same SUV) to be vacuumed not like the last one. His response was I'm the only one doing this. I was the only person in line other than the other SUV. I stood there to make sure my car was vacuumed out completely.
Today's wash was a total mess. I was trying to avoid washing my car. But I will wash it. My car is all streaked, and being black it is greatly noticed. I pointed out to the guy who wouldn't wipe out my door jambs how bad it looked, he said it' s a $5.00 wash what do you expect?
It's not about the $5.00 and the $2.00 add on, it's about service! I believe in keeping businesses in our community, and how do you do that? You buy their goods and services. The Dirty Car Car Wash people are rude, the services are lousy, and if you want to throw away your money, just drive by and throw it to them. Your car will look the same.
I will neve go back.

I completely agree! I too went to the Dirty Car Wash in Donelson. They did a horrible job at vacuuming my car, and even though I wasnt satisfied, I decided to let it go. The next morning my car had turned into a greenhouse and the windows were covered in condensation from the soaking wet car mats. My windows had to be wiped from the inside and were all streaky. As the day warmed up, my car began to mildew and now reeks horribly. I went back to speak with the manager about this issue, and he refused to give me a refund. He verbally harassed and insulted me in a way that was utterly appalling. I cant believe he treats costumers this way! After a screaming session, and nothing resolved, he basically chased me away, yelling the whole way!
