Discount Engine Exchange Eric Deroche stole from me in the name of Discount Engine Exchange Phoenix, Arizona
I paid Eric Deroche $1400 deposit to buy an engine for a 1990 Benz.Once he got the money,he refused to do any work to my car.It has been with them for a year now. I have gone through a lot of pain because of the way he ripped me off.He used to refer all questions to a man named Ted Kline,who no longer works there.Any time I call about my car,he asks me to go talk to some mechanic who knows nothing about my car.
They recently moved and never told me they'd moved to their present location.I had to look for them by asking people around their old address.They never informed me they had moved and taken my car with them.
I have found out that they have F rating with the BBB,their company is incorprated in Nevada with Eric Deroche and Shawn(Shann) Reese as managers.The state of AZ does not know them really!
I will spare you the details of my missery because they are similar to all the other ones you will read here.The last time I went following up on my car,Eric shut the door on me and locked it.He said I was trespassing on private property. After that,I went to court and sued.When the post office showed up with a restricted certified mail,they refused to sign for it.That same day,Eric called me wanting to repair the car and wanted my authorization.I never called them.
Last few days,Eric has called saying the engine is done.I have not called him back.My subpoena was returned and am gonna use the sheriff to get it served.I used lots of rental cars thinking they were going to get done.They never did.I ended up buying a car that died shortly thereafter and had to buy another one.THEY NEVER CARED.
If all the people who have been ripped off got together and sought a good attorney,this guy will be out of the RIPPOFF BUSINESS for sure.
Dont DISCOUNT YOURSELF by taking your car to ERIC DEROCHE and SHANN(SHAWN) REESE at DISCOUNT ENGINE EXCHANGE,Mesa AZ 85210.

i am responding to your report on discount engine. i took my truck there for an engine repair, i was quoted 2595.00 By the time my teuck was done i had to pay 7075.00 i went back for the 500 mile check paid another 100.00 and now 1000 miles after driving the truck it is back at hos shop necause the truck does not run. we know that it is an engine issue but they refuse to admit that and say it is something else and now it will cost more to fix. i will be towig my truck home because they say it is a computer error or there is something stuck open and it has to do with the transmision. please let me know if you still have your class action suit going on. this place is a rip off and charge so much money and they continue to keep adding more money. when i was paying for my truck, Eric said to weite him a check to pay and get mt truck , we did then he said the truck had to stay there until the check cleared or i could give him the title and my wedding ring to hold take the truck then come back a few days later to get the title and my ring once he knew all the money was good. i paid all cash and had to write a check because there were more added expenses when i was told the truck was ready to be picked up. i refused to give the title and my wedding ring, not sent a red flag there, what business owner tries to take a womans wedding ring please let me know if you can help. thanks

The judge awarded me some money for expenses I incurred while they were holding on to my car.That came to about $2600. Now I just have to collect it and also see how to get my car from them.
Everybody should sue this crooks.Ted and Eric are the greatest swindlers I have ever met.I am not even sure if the owner,Shawn Reese,knows about all these thefts.
