We purchased a pond heater and Vibram dog ball from Cheap Pet Products around mid October. While ordering, the site advertised Pay Pal, but I was unable to access Pay Pal during the check out process. Instead we had to sign onto a new site AlertPay.com (it was a https site) give the appropriate credit card information and close out the sale. When we received the parcel, only half of the order was in the box without any type of shipper or receipt. Upon making several phone calls to the sites contact telephone number, we never received an answer or even a answering service. We proceeded back to the site's customer service, filed an RMA and received an email conformation back with an RMA number. Approximately two days later we received a second email from AlertPay.com advising us we had a credit from Cheap Pet Products in the amount of the Vibram dog ball. When we proceeded to the AlertPay site in an attempt to retreive the credit, the site required "Validation" for the credit to be paid back via bank wire. Now, if I purchased through AlertPay via a credit card one would think the credit would be applied back to the same credit card, right? Wrong!! Instead, the validation the site is requesting is in the form of picture id and back information. I DON"T THINK SO!! So instead of being out of thousands of dollars due to identity theft, I think we will chaulk this up as a lessoned learned and only loose $9.00. PLEASE BE WARE OF THIS SITE!!!

Your Beef is with the Wrong Company

I'm not sure why you are giving this company a hard time when your beef is really with AlertPay.  You had a choice on their site of using a credit card directly or paying via AlertPay (they take both) and you made the choice to use AlertPay.

When they didn't have something available they refunded you the same way you paid them.  This is a problem of yours and not CheapPetProduct as you didn't go through the validation to get them money back from AlertPay.

Sheeze, talk about an unfair review.
