Distinct Advantage ripoff St. Petersburg Florida
I was contacted lastnight by a land clamming I was won a $500 gas voucher and $400 in airplane tickets and I didn't have to buy anything.
She 1st asked what bank I was with and I told her I had 2 different banks then she said "whichever one is active" I told her they both were. So then I told her the bank and she repeated to me what my routing number was then said "now please give me the next set of numbers on the bottom of your checks" I told her there was no way I would do that because its my account number. and she said "I'm not asking you any harmful information" I told her you could easily make a purchase with my account number via the computer. She was very persistantant an excellent talker. To the point I felt bad for wanting to hangup on her.
She persisted for a long time stating that she could not use my acct number that the bank would need "written or verbal permission for anyone else to use my account number and that if it was that easy banks everywhere would be outta business because everyone would do it". Of corse I argued with her and finally got angry and told her no for the 100th time and she said "ok thanks you".
